MUNICH Nostalgia

I spent a year in Munich, Germany, finishing my Masters degree. Taking walks on the area where usually the Octoberfest is held, one day, there was a smaller fair and a pop-up car show that people came to see. The vastness of the plaza, the big cars, the fair, the gothic church on the horizon, and people in traditional German dress or with a Cowboy hat blended for me into a melange of U.S. and German nostalgia.
